First, it doesn’t take a large team to create great content. Second, don’t get caught up comparing your destination with others. Focus on what you love and want to share. Learn basic techniques for quality acquisition—nothing too fancy. Position yourself in the right place at the right time, or stage an authentic situation and film it the way you see it. Remember, don’t get caught up in how others are doing it. Flash in the pan techniques can date your shots ruining your asset library. If you want to do what the kids are doing, do it in post. That way you can get the most ROI out of your work.
